OVERVIEW

A linkage of mechanisms that won't sit still.

Twenty-millimetre steel balls picked up, lifted, dropped, and looped back to the start by an Archimedes screw, a pivoting catch, a ramp, and a gravity return. Every joint was sketched on paper, cut on a band-saw, drilled with hand tools, and assembled in my dorm.

The brief was: build something that does a thing. Mine does one thing forever.
